Owens Corning shingle roofs, most of them installed in one day, with a project manager on site and no surprises on the price.
A new roof is a big decision. We want you to finish the conversation relieved: you know what's wrong, what it costs, and what your options are.

We're family-owned and locally operated, with two locations serving Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Our crews are supervised on site by a SWORD project manager on every job.

We install Owens Corning shingles exclusively and build the roof as a whole system: shingles, intake, ventilation and attic insulation working together.

A tear-off is rough work around a house. If we damage something of yours, whether that's a rose bush or a downspout, we put it right. When we make a mistake, we fix it.

A roof can look fine from the driveway and still be near the end of its life. These are the signs we look for.
Not every one of these means a new roof. If a repair will do the job, we'll tell you. See roof repair.

Free, and usually 30 minutes to an hour. We check attic ventilation and intake, take drone photos, and walk you through what we found.

You choose from three Owens Corning shingles, good, better and best. We explain the difference and you decide.

Your project manager is on site early. Tear-off debris goes into our Equipter, which lifts to the eave so it stays out of your landscaping.

We run a magnetic sweep for nails on every job and photograph the finished roof by drone.
We install Owens Corning shingles and nothing else. These are the three we offer.

$10,000 to $14,000
That's the typical range for a standard 15-square roof, about 1,500 square feet. Here is what moves the number.
Under your shingles is wood decking, also called sheathing. When accessible, we inspect attic spaces to limit the amount of surprises on the price. We don't always have access to the attic, whether that's because the homeowner wasn't there, or there's just no access door to get in it, and in those situations it's a to-be-determined. But if we can get in the attic, we're getting in and we're letting you know the condition of your sheathing.
When decking does need to be replaced, a re-deck averages $4,000 to $6,000.

We photograph our projects by drone. Tap any photo to see it larger.

We're an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and Top of the House certified. The main reason we install Owens Corning is the SureNail strip, a reinforced band across each shingle's nailing zone. It gives the roof a better wind rating and a better seal, and it gives installers a clear line to nail to. Owens Corning shingles are also made here in Ohio.
We replace asphalt shingle roofs, and nothing else. No metal, no flat roofs, no tile or slate. Doing one thing is how we do it well.
The old shingles come off so we can see the deck. Extra layers add tear-off labor, which is one of the things that affects the price.
Shingles are the part you see. Under and around them are ice and water shield at the edges and valleys, drip edge, flashing, and intake and exhaust vents sized for your attic.
Every roof we install is Owens Corning. The shingles are made in Ohio, and we're an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor.
You can learn a lot without a ladder. Walk around the house on a bright day and look for these.
A steady build-up of sandy grit is the roof's protective granules washing off. Some is normal on a new roof. A lot on an old one means the shingles are wearing through.
Shingles that look bald, dark or patchy have lost their granules. Past that stage you may see the mat showing through, then a glassy, crystallized look, then bare fiberglass.
Curled corners, lifted tabs and missing ridge caps show up first where the wind hits hardest.
Stains on upstairs ceilings in more than one room suggest the roof is failing in general, not in one spot.

A one-day roof isn't about rushing. It's about what happens before the crew arrives.
Materials are ordered and staged ahead of time. The project manager is on site early and checks the delivery first, including the shingle color. The Equipter is positioned at the roof edge so debris goes straight into it instead of being carried across the yard.
Then it comes down to a crew that works together well. Tear-off, deck repairs, underlayment and shingles follow each other without waiting, and the house isn't left open overnight. Very large or complicated roofs can take longer. If yours will, we'll tell you when we give you the estimate.

We replace roofs from two offices. The main one is on the east side, close to Amelia, Batavia, Milford and Loveland, and within reach of city neighborhoods such as Mount Lookout.
The second is in Blue Ash, which puts us near Mason, West Chester and Montgomery. There is a separate page for roof installation in Blue Ash.
Wherever you are, you can get a ballpark first. Our Build Your Roof tool gives a good, better and best estimate from your address.
A tear-off produces a lot of debris, and old shingles are heavy. Where that debris lands is the difference between a tidy job and a wrecked flower bed.
We use an Equipter, a self-propelled dump trailer sometimes called a roofer's buggy. It drives up beside the house and its container lifts to the eave, so the crew drops old shingles straight in.
Before we leave, we go over the property with a magnet to pick up nails. And if something does get damaged, we make it right.

Most of our customers finance their roof. We work with Service Finance Company, a lender set up for home service work.
The standard program runs 18 months, and there are flexible financing options. Some homeowners pay by cash or check, and some roofs are paid for through insurance after storm damage.
The details are on our financing page. Our Build Your Roof tool also shows payment options next to its good, better and best prices.
Most of our roof replacements are done in one day. Your project manager is on site early, materials are staged ahead of time, and the Equipter keeps tear-off moving. Larger or more complex roofs can take longer, and we'll tell you up front if yours is one of them.
We're a shingle company, and we install Owens Corning shingles exclusively: Oakridge, TruDefinition Duration and TruDefinition Duration FLEX. During your inspection we explain the differences so you can pick what fits your home and budget.
Yes, and most of our customers do. The lender is Service Finance Company. Flexible financing options are offered, and the standard program is 18 months. Cash and insurance payments are fine too. See financing.
The most common reason is decking that can't be seen until tear-off. That's why we get into the attic whenever we can and tell you the condition of your sheathing before you sign.
Heavy granule loss, exposed matting, shingles that look crystallized and bare fiberglass, in that order. Leaks in several places at once are another sign.
Yes. We install asphalt shingle roofs only, and only Owens Corning shingles.
Yes. It's loud, but you don't need to leave.
No, but it's the easiest time to do it, and gutters are 25% off when bundled with a roof replacement.
Shingle roofs are replaced through most of the year. Weather on the day matters more than the season, and we schedule around rain.
Some older roofs have a second layer laid over the first. We tear off down to the deck, and each extra layer adds labor to the tear-off.
It's the extra material needed for cuts at valleys, hips and edges. It averages 5% to 15%, and roofs with many facets sit at the higher end.
Yes. We photograph the deck by drone once the old shingles are off, so you can see its condition for yourself.
