At every stage, they provided updated drone images so we could see exactly what they were finding. It turned out the entire wood decking beneath the shingles had rotted and needed to be replaced. I braced myself for a massive increase in cost because that’s been my experience with contractors in the past: the more damage they find, the more the bill snowballs into something you can barely afford. That never happened. Despite the additional work, they honored—and actually came in below—their original quote. I was honestly shocked by their integrity. They told us it would be approximately 2 weeks to complete in which they sent us updates on where we were on wait list. They completed job when they said.
